The store on the corner of Sunbridge Road and Godwin Street was formerly called Sunwin House (part of the Co-Operative group). Did it get its name from a combination of those road names, I wonder? (SUNbridge/godWIN). For the last few years it had been T.J.Hughes - see Image - but by the end of 2011 had closed. See also Image The building is grade II listed (List Entry Number 1391522).
