Generously-proportioned stuccoed Italianate hotel with a Doric portico and bracketed cornice. Built 1844 and extended later in the C19th. The listing speculates that "similarities with Royal Station Hotel at Slough suggest I K Brunel as architect or one of his assistants." Grade II listed.
