This full size replica of a Spitfire was commissioned by a local retired GP and it takes pride of place in his front garden. It is certainly a wonderful sight to behold and there is a collection box next to an information sheet with contributions going to the Air Chief Marshall Lord Hugh Dowding Memorial Fund and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
