A rare splash of Georgian refinement amid Manchester's ocean of Victoriana. By Richard Lane, 1828-31. Portico of four Ionic columns (based on the Ilissic temple illustrated by Stuart and Revett in 'Antiquities of Athens') surmounted by a pediment. Grade II listed.
