Some people are disappointed when they see the stature of this old statue of Llywelyn the Great, as he is rather diminutive and miniature rather than 'great'. His noble mien somewhat redresses this imbalance but he does look a little like a fellow with 'small man syndrome' rather than the resourceful, intrepid, tough and charismatic chap that the real man must have been.
