Its namesake, the Triumph Herald car, ceased production at the nearby Standard Triumph factory many years ago and the factory has also gone. Now The Herald public house awaits demolition. In 2008 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/785921 and 2010 http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2049090
