Looking down from the city walls across Paragon Street towards the Image In the description of that earlier photo, I mentioned that the Centre had been due for demolition (and rebuilding) in 2005 but had continued to hold the UK Snooker Championships in both 2005 and 2006. In fact, rather than being demolished, it was refurbished and is seen here on the day of the 2011 final of the same event, I believe the first event to have taken place within these circular walls since the snooker was here five years ago.
