A French-tinged design with banded rustication, ornate balconies, and other carvings (Image]). It is faced in white 'Marmo' Burmantofts terracotta, but underneath is a concrete frame, probably the earliest in Leeds according to Pevsner. Built 1909 by Perkin & Bulmer. Grade II listed. A great shame that the corner monstrosity on the roof was allowed. It is still a bank.
