A large size E II R pillar box. One of a growing number of postboxes designated as 'Post Office' where the Post Office itself has disappeared. The Post Office was in a completely different street - Church Street, as the name of the box shows. There is however still an outreach Post Office service operating from the Three Crowns. This pillar box is clearly a recent installation as it does not appear in Google streetview images from 2009.
