Looking NW along Malvern Road. The Anglican church (diocese of Gloucester) was built during 1837-1840. There were later additions and alterations, mainly in 1888-1889. The church's website records that "Most unusually, Christ Church was built before the surrounding houses". Grade II* listed in March 1955.
