Packed with shops dedicated to expensive designer brands, mainly clothing, the goods are in some cases end of season/end of line, so the prices can sometimes be less pricey than you would expect. Needless to say, you will not find Primark or Poundland here, and at a time when the country is going through severe financial difficulties, it is surprising to see the large crowds of shoppers here clutching their Gucci etc carrier bags. The Christmas decorations were up when this photograph was taken, at dusk, in mid-November. Image
