One of those buildings which looked good in the plans but just another identikit apartment block once built and given its position directly opposite the Royal Pavilion it hasn't gone down very well with locals nor does it blend in with its surroundings. The buildings to its right originally known as the Blue and Buffs date from the 1780s whilst the those to the left on the corner of Pavilion Street were built not long after.
