An elegant lantern-cross type memorial. Unusually, the number of dead from World War II (4) outnumbers those from the First (3). Typical WWI casualties are significantly greater. In this instance the numbers doubtless reflect the significant growth of Tollerton in the interwar period as a commuter village for Nottingham. The small information board to the left of the memorial records something of the life and service of each of the named victims.
