Jet Provost T MK5A XW353 This aircraft entered service as a training jet at RAF Cranwell on 18th January 1971 and flew over 1,660 hours in a flying training role, including trainee pilot HRH Prince of Wales in 1971. In February 1976 it transferred to RAF Leeming for 8 years, then RAF Scampton for 6 years before retiring to Cranwell in October 1990 with 6,243.20 flying hours logged.
