The mural depicts the seven Saxon Kings crowned in Kingston with, beneath, the River Thames and at the centre the shield of the ancient coat of arms of the former Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. It bears three salmon on blue in reference to the three fisheries mentioned in Domesday Book. At the bottom are depictions of tradesmen and buildings in Eden Street.
