The name of the minor road between Glynde place and the junction at Image The current road turns sharp right here but originally the route followed the line of the wire fence in the distance as it passed to the west of Glyndebourne Farm. In all likelihood the change was probably due to the difficulties horse drawn coaches had with the gradient.
