If I ruled the world everyone would live like this. Large, fairly recently constructed executive-style detached homes in small closes and cul-de-sacs that could hardly be more middle-class. They speak of lives well spent, dedicated careers, careful husbandry of assets and a wish for understated comfort, a high degree of privacy and security and a shrewd understanding of human affairs. Too quiet for me though.
