View SW on a wintry afternoon. Three Bridges was a small Depot on the ex-LB&SCR London - Brighton main line, providing, since the electrification of 1933, locomotives for freight and for the branch to East Grinstead: as BR code 75E, in 1949 it had 34 locomotives:- 7 2-6-0, 13 0-6-0, 5 4-4-2T and 9 0-6-2T. This is ex-LB&SCR Marsh C3 class No. 32303 (built 6/1906, withdrawn 9/51).
