Bensham Manor School is the London Borough of Croydon's secondary school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and/or autism. On Ecclesbourne Road, it occupies the premises previously used by the Ecclesbourne primary school, which moved to a new site close by. Since this photograph was taken, a modern purpose-built games area with fencing around it and a soft surface has taken the place of the hard tarmac netball court seen here. The new facility opened in 2012. See Image for a more up-to-date image.
