City-centre pub on Thomas Street. Internally, pure 1970s, with customers to match; no sign of students or alternative young people found elsewhere nearby. Consequently a friendly atmosphere. Bar to back and left; drinking and eating areas front and right, games machines. Cask ales on offer at my visit: Lees Bitter, Marble Old Guvner.
