Looking south from near the corner of Llantarnam Park Way towards office buildings at the far end of Lake View. Maps describe the adjacent bodies on water as 'ponds' rather than 'lakes' but when does a large pond become a small lake? The largest of the nearby ponds is about 120 metres by 40 metres.
