View southward, towards Bristol etc.: ex-Midland Birmingham - Bristol main line, paralleling the Up ex-GWR main line. (See also Image]). These rebuilt 'Royal Scot' 7P 4-6-0 locomotives had only recently been working on this main line, having been displaced from their normal routes by Diesels. This train ran on just four Peak Summer Saturdays and is headed by No. 46160 'Queen Victoria's Rifleman', built 8/30, rebuilt 2/45 and withdrawn 5/65.
