This looks like an old packhorse track, coming from Sowerby village via Blind Lane and Brearley Bridge, then continuing as Brearley Lane, Bank Bottom and Stoney Lane to reach Height Road at Foster Clough Bridge. On the right is an overgrown entrance to the grounds of Brearley House, with half of a 'Private' sign.
