Green Moor Well

A restored pump house, originally built in 1904 which was in use to provide water for the village of Green Moor until 1951. A 30' vertical ladder and a 20' stone passage provide access to the well head. This photograph is taken at the bottom of the ladder, looking down the stone pathway.
