Seeds from this clump of willowherb were drifting thickly across the lane shown in Image It's very widespread and obviously successful at colonising ground such as hedge margins and forested areas soon after felling. An Arctic species, the Dwarf Fireweed or River Beauty, is the national plant of Greenland where it is known as Niviarsiaq.
