The late C18 mansion http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-342219-becca-hall-house-only-at-se419387-aberfo was built for William Markham, Warren Hastings' private secretary. At its rear is a radio mast. Because of tree growth, it's now hard to get a clear picture of the hall from within the square, as seen in Image This is from the bridleway from Aberford.
