Some references show 'The Old Stables' but the name plate on the house is 'The Stables'. Located opposite the side of the Cock Hotel. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2553148 Set back a few metres from the roadway behind the far end of The Stables, out of shot, is the lych gate of St Mary's church.
