The fire engine is parked in front of an Asda superstore, opposite the bus shelter on the first-floor open-air parking area. The side of the fire engine in view shows DE CYMRU across the yellow band. On the side of the cab is CWMBRÂN, with a 'hat' or circumflex accent above the A. On the other side of the vehicle, the corresponding text is SOUTH WALES and CWMBRAN. The accent over the A is optional in English use, and is usually omitted. In Welsh, the accent distinguishes brân (crow) from bran (bran). The fire engine is based at the local fire station http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/467330 in Henllys Way.
