Not quite as old as the timber framing might suggest, it dates basically from the mid-18th century, although with later addition. Listed Grade II, at the time of the listing it was still sporting a corrugated iron covering to the thatch, which has since been restored. Note the decorative bird, possibly and owl, on the ridge.
