The entrance to Peter's site is from Greenway. This is the factory and headquarters of Peter's Food Services Ltd. The company traces its origins back to the 1950s and Thomas Pies, a small pie manufacturer in Merthyr Tydfil. The name was changed to Peter's when the firm move here in 1976. In 2011, Peter's make more than 3 million items each week. Products include pastries, pies, sausages and saveloys. Peter’s has ten distribution centres in the UK, supplying fast food outlets, fish bars, restaurants, cafes, sandwich shops, independent retailers, schools, hospitals and hotels with a range of over 900 products.
