A grade II listed post-house, left of picture, dated 1823, now a house and chemists shop. Painted brick to front, a slate roof with coped gables, moulded kneelers with end and centre brick stacks. The original inn was altered in the mid C19 to provide a shop at end left. Door to right of centre, approached by a flight of steps. Carriage entrance to right has a rusticated elliptical arch.
