View west from the Mayorhold car park with the Express Lifts Tower and a Newlife tower block. Between them the tops of the stands at the Northampton Rugby Football Club ground can be seen. The Express Lifts Tower was used for testing lifts and is the only one of its kind in the UK and only one of two in the whole of Europe. It is Listed Grade II.
