Viewed from Image with Round Hill in the distance with Vantage Point, the office block on right. Once the A27 until replaced by the by-pass in the early 1990s now downgraded to the A270. Prior to that it was a small farm track that provided the parish boundary between Brighton to the south and Preston to the north. The iron workings of the former bridge were made by Regent Foundry which once occupied a site in central Brighton until demolished in the 1920s to be replaced by a new sorting office which still remains at that location.
