Dating from the late 19th century, Skegoneill Avenue is part of a through route from the Antrim Road to the Shore Road, via Glandore Avenue Image This is the Shore Road end. Old Belfast street directories use the spelling “Skegoniel” which can be a bit confusing. Image shows the completed apartments seen (background) under construction at the corner of the Shore Road.
