Asda (formerly Netto Foodstore), New Road, Kidderminster

This was a Netto Foodstore but has been sold to Asda. The refitting was in progress, when photographed, and the store was scheduled to open in mid-July 2011. Netto, owned by a Danish supermarket, decided to pull out of the UK. Many, but not all, of its UK stores have been sold to Asda. There are also proposals for a much bigger Asda store in Kidderminster, in the Horsefair area. The town has several large supermarkets already, so there is hardly a lack of choice here. Next door to this Asda store, is a pet store called Just for Pets. Image Image
