The disused primary school building in Main Street

The plaque on the north gable states that the building dates from 1858. However, another plaque on the south gable has the date 1925. The old school has been replaced by the modern Cumran School. The disused building is now in the process of being refurbished by the local Presbyterian congregation as an outreach centre. Image
