This view south along Glyndwr Road shows a sign directing motorists left for Glyndwr car park, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2495329 or right for Monmouth car park. As a planned new town (designated as such in 1949), Cwmbran benefits from ample free parking, in contrast to nearby locations such as Newport and Pontypool.
