The Lloyds TSB bank branch sits at the eastern end of the square. Leominster has many attractive, interesting and varied architectural features and rewards a stroll around its main streets and squares and a browse in some of its shops. People say (mainly non-residents) that Leominster can be characterised as follows: you will never see anyone good-looking in town, drivers will never show anyone any courtesy and when, or if, you visit you will never see people warmly chatting in the streets, instead they eye each other suspiciously, as if in a strange place. I like Leominster and the people I have met there and the town has many advantages. Like anywhere I suppose it becomes what you make it. Feel free to disprove its unfair characterisation above. I have.
