Hare Street: The Old Swan

Just like Image over the road this is an old hall house, although built slightly later, in the early 16th century. As the name suggests it was once The Swan public house and seems to have served in that function until 1909. Latterly it has been in use as a tea room. It is a Grade II Listed Building and of particular interest are the two oriel windows, one under one of the jettied gables. This was taken on the same day as Roger's Image
