The clock tower, standing at the corner of Market Street and New Road, is the most prominent building in the village of Brough. It was erected in 1911 to commemorate the coronation of King George V. The plaque (Image]) was added in 1953 for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The Golden Fleece public house is behind the clock tower.
