The church was built as Great Malvern rapidly expanded during the boom "Water Cure" period of the mid-Victorian times. It cost over £8000 and was designed to seat 700 people. The bishop of Worcester, Dr Philpott, dedicated the finished building on 28th December 1875. The organ was built by the local firm, Nicholsons of Malvern Link, in 1884 and, in 1896, the pipes were decorated in memory of Mrs Sarah Caroline Davenport, the wife of the first vicar. Image] Image]
