This large store is on the junction of Week Street (on the left) and Waterside (on the right). See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Fraser for more details about the previous owners. In 2007, there were plans to demolish the building, and replace it with a mixture of retail and housing. These were rejected by Maidstone Borough Council.
