The notices on the fence make it very clear that trespassers are unwelcome. The sign reads "NO UNAUTHORISED ACCESS This is a protected site under Section 128 of the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005. Trespass on the site is a criminal offence". Security at the Harwell nuclear complex is handled by the Civil Nuclear Constabulary - who are armed.
