The Priory was built in 1831 by the George family and was later occupied by the Fry's chocolate family. In 1901 Roderick Fry rented the house along with 26 acres of land for £162 per annum. It is stone built in the tudor gothic style with a high degree of ornamentation. This is the rear of the building with the very elaborate perpendicular style conservatory showing clearly on the left with the main house on the right.
