St Mary Cray Cemetery sandwiched between the railway and Star Lane dates from 1884. It is a strange mixture, notable for its simple R.A.F. graves and elaborate traveller's graves. One of the latter can be seen here with its symbols indicating a member of the travellers' community. The front of the gravestone can be seen at http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/2456205
