This Grade II Listed public house is on the High Street. The English Heritage Listed Buildings website describes the exterior as:- "Late 18th century. Probably timber-framed, rendered on brick sill with longstraw thatch roof. Two storeys. Symmetrical front of three original window openings, now with mid-20th century flush frame casements. Central doorway in mid-20th century gable porch." The eponymous hare and hounds are nicely picked out on the ridge of the thatch.
