The original bridge piers support a modern wooden bridge deck that carries Lady Mary's Walk over the cutting through which the Crieff to Balquhidder railway line ran. The original bridge deck would have been steel but was removed either immediately after the line closed for scrap or more recently as it became unsafe to use.
