Seen from Platforms 7/8, the Summer Saturday 09.18 Exmouth - Manchester (Piccadilly) express is about to leave northwards via the Severn Tunnel, Hereford, Shrewsbury and Crewe. The locomotive is Hawksworth 4-6-0 No. 1011 'County of Chester'. (Note the wheel-tapper by the first coach).
