Foots Cray Place was built in the 1750s, but sadly burnt down in 1949 and was demolished in 1950. The estate was combined with that of North Cray Place (also demolished) to form Foots Cray Meadows, the largest open space in the Borough of Bexley. This view looks up to the terrace of Foots Cray Place. The house was on the level area beyond the top terrace.
