The motorcyclist is at the end of Market Place at the junction with Clarendon Place. Years ago Clarendon Place and Market Place were part of the main road from Lincoln and Sheffield to Manchester and Liverpool. The part of Clarendon Place ahead was originally Hoviley Brow but when Clark Way and the M67 motorway was built, this remnant of Hoviley Brow was renamed Clarendon Place.
